A Thousand Words

A Thousand Words Thursday
You know what they say about a picture...it's worth a thousand words.

Any words come to mind?

BzzAgent: About.me

BzzAgent Corey here, reporting on a new social media tool brought to you by about.me. All of your online content and profiles can be accessible from your unique about.me splash page. Your slash page builds a single online identity. Be it for personal use, or to create a professional on-line profile about.me will allow you to take all your scattered online profiles (like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn) and put them in one easy place.

The vidoe does a nice job explaining it all.

All about about.me from about.me on Vimeo.

Creating the account was easy. There are a ton of different settings and looks to work around with, but I just made a basic one quickly...taking about 10 minutes.

If this thing catches on, it would be usefully to be able to have all of your social media information in one spot.
However, I feel that some of the services about.me is offering, are already being offered by the big social networks. Twitter and Facebook allow you to link your accounts, and it's pretty easy to add an email, blog or facebook link to any business card or email you are sending out for networking purposes.
Unless this becomes a widely used service, I don't see this site being very useful for me.

However it is free, and the site claims that you can receive 50 free MOO business cards when you sign up. https://about.me/

BzzAgent: Fekkari

BzzAgent Corey here, reporting on a new product that was sent to me from BzzAgent.com :) My Fekkai BzzAgent kit arrived with a bottle of Fekkai Technician Color Care Shampoo & Conditioner.  I am always coloring my hair different, crazy colors, so I was excited to give this a try.  BzzAgent also sent me a couple samples of the Glossing cream. Those would work perfect for when I wear my hair straight.

The Red Ring of Death

I bet all of you gamers out there are quivering over the title of this post. For you non-gamers out there, "The Red Ring of Death" refers to a broken Xbox.

What should happen when you fire up your Xbox is this.

But lately, we have been seeing a lot of this.

An Apple A Day...

I have been using a lovely company this year called Ripe Organics. I have mentioned them a couple times on my Family Fresh Meals blog. They are a small, family owned and operated company that delivers organic produce to homes throughout the greater Chicago land area. All I can think about is the winter months quickly approaching, and how awesome it will be to have these beautiful organics delivered straight to my door.
